The Final Countdown
The countdown has truly begun to Clyde’s forthcoming Optical Express Challenge Cup match with Manchester United on 16 July (kick off 3pm) and there continues to be massive nationwide interest in the game. Commercial Manager Jack Rolland is delighted with the response to this fantastic event.
“We’ve had interest for this game from far and wide indeed on Wednesday we sold a busload of tickets to Manchester United supporters from Ayrshire and Fraserburgh! But we truly want this to be a gala day for all of Cumbernauld and would urge all local football fans to contact us to get their tickets for the big day and avoid disappointment. We’re getting towards 6000 tickets being sold and it will create a terrific atmosphere in Broadwood.”
Jack continued: “All hospitality packages are now sold out which is great and participants there will be able to meet stars from the past and present before and after the match. This game has given the club a real boost and we are all excited at the prospect of Manchester United coming to town.”
Remember the match kicks off at 3pm on 16 July. Broadwood has a capacity of 8000, so it is not a sell out – yet!
But why delay? Tickets remain available but make sure you or your friends don’t miss out and be a part of history by getting in touch with the Club.
Keep watching the website for further details and activities occurring on this special day for all the family.
Tickets are priced £10 adults £5 concession and are available from the Clyde Admin Office at Broadwood on 01236 451511.
