Scot Gemmill Considers Clyde Invite

Graham Roberts has confirmed that talks are continuing with Scottish internationalist Scot Gemmill. “I spoke with Scot on Friday and he remains interested in coming to Clyde but he has asked for a further fortnight to mull things over as he also has to consider some other offers.”

One player on his way to Clyde is the highly rated youngster Neil McGregor from Kilmarnock. Neil was a member of the Kilmarnock youth side that won the Scottish Cup under the stewardship of Ian Durrant and Graham is delighted at the prospect of the young defender coming to Clyde.

Graham Roberts has certainly made a massive impact since his arrival and since he made his offer to consider players’ applications, over 2000 footballers contacted the club; Graham relaxed by moving house! It certainly has been a manic time but one which has put the smile back in the Clyde.
