Sheri Is A Star
Darren Sheridan demonstrated his passion and commitment for Clyde last weekend. The experienced midfielder was suspended from action but he chose to drive from his Manchester home to take in the game.
Billy Reid commented: “We didn’t expect him to travel but Darren wanted to be with the lads and he drove up himself on Friday night. Darren is a massive influence in the dressing room and he was involved at half time and assisted in the warm up. It would be great to have him through the week as he is a great personality but the current arrangement is working well.”
Sheridan, 36, who started his career at Leeds United before playing with Barnsley in the Premiership, will be missing from action again this weekend but Billy looked on the positive side: “Darren’s had a niggling injury and this enforced absence will help him have the rest that he requires.”
Darren regularly demonstrates his commitment to the club by his actions on and off the pitch and he has undoubtedly been one of the finds of the season.
