Clyde V Falkirk

Clyde boss Billy Reid reported to the website that he has a full strength squad to pick from for tomorrow’s tie against Falkirk. “Our biggest worries had been John Potter and Jimmy Gibson but both trained this morning and are available for the match”.

Commenting on the game, Billy remained hopeful. “It is a game we can win but without a doubt we will have to be at our very best. It will be a great atmosphere and one that we are all really looking forward to”.

Opponents Falkirk have been cagey on their own team plans with John Hughes commenting to the Bairns website that he doesn’t want to give Billy Reid “any advance warning at all”. However earlier on it was thought that Craig MacPherson and Kevin James may be fit to return.

Boss Hughes certainly respects the Bully Wee “Clyde are an excellent team, very hard to break down and there up in the top three of the league on merit”. So the scene is set for a cracking tie.

Elsewhere Partick Thistle play host to St Johnstone, St Mirren visit Airdrie United, Queen of the South host Raith Rovers and Hamilton make the long trip North to play Ross County.
