Only An Excuse – Further Details

Clyde fan Richard Duncan has told the website that earlier today he received a telephone call from the BBC asking if he could participate in the “Only An Excuse” shooting at Broadwood this coming Tuesday (7 December).

His BBC contact asked if he could pass on to Clyde supporters that there is one change to previous web story about Only An Excuse. Apparently the start time is at the slightly earlier start time of 7:30/7:45 due to some crowd scenes getting shot early.

Richard’s BBC contact also asked if people intending to come to Broadwood to take part in crowd scenes could bring a pair of football boots (if they can) and also tartan army gear if they have any like jimmy hats, scarves, flags and even kilts!

Clyde F.C are reliably informed this is not a wind-up!

Richard was also advised that if people could wear enough clothing to keep them warm due to the possibility of cold weather first thing in the morning, and also that they avoid wearing clothing with large brands on them, or stripey/check shirts due to the camera strobes.
