Swirling conditions contributed to an apparent misjudgement by Bryn Halliwell for Falkirk’s first goal and, with confidence perhaps slightly dented, the keeper took the wrong option that led to Falkirk’s second.

These two first-half goals were enough to win the game for the Bairns, but Clyde’s chances of recovering were not helped when key man Darren Sheridan was sent off, although the re-adjusted side gave a good account of themselves after the dismissal.
