Chris Hillcoat Steps Down As Under 19 Coach

Chris Hillcoat has advised the Club that he is no longer in the position, mainly for business reasons, to devote the time required to run the Under 19 side.

Chris spent seventeen years with Hamilton Academical as a player and then latterly as manager before parting company with the Douglas Park club when ex-Clyde supremo Ronnie Macdonald took over the Accies in May 2003.

Since then Chris has been involved with the Clyde youth set-up, impressing all with knowledge of the game.

It is expected that vastly experienced Assistant Manager Stuart Balmer will now take charge of Clyde’s Under 19 team.
