Scooby’S Impressive Start Continues

Scott Wilson has already shown Bully Wee supporters what a fine addition he is to Billy Reid’s new-look squad and his Man of the Match award for the Raith Rovers match was further evidence of this.

The ex-Motherwell and Airdrie United man was snapped up by Reid just before the transfer deadline to provide cover at the back but during Stuart Balmer’s recent enforced absence he has quickly formed a solid partnership with John Potter and will be difficult to remove from the starting line-up.

Scott was a clear winner of the members’ vote (taking 38%), with fellow summer signing Aaron Conway and Bryn Halliwell sharing second place. You can view the full results by clicking on the “MoM Result” link on the homepage’s fixture box.

Clyde fans will be hoping that the good form of Wilson, and also that of the rest of the squad, continues at Firhill on Saturday. Don’t forget to vote for your Man of the Match on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.
