Supporters’ Trust Poty Event

The Supporters’ Trust Player of the Year event will take place at the Slug & Lettuce, St.Vincent Street, Glasgow this Saturday (15th May) from 8pm. With well over 1000 votes collected for the Trust Player of the Year and Goal of the Season, the awards will give a very fair representation of the season.

We were all hugely disappointed with the outcome on Saturday and the likely outcome this Saturday but it is surely obvious to all that we must, like never before, rally to ensure the continued long term survival of our club. We can be equally sure the Clyde players will give us a performance to remember in Brechin and, at the very least, end the season on a high.

A number of star players from yesteryear will be making the effort to attend and it is hoped the supporters can get over any disappointment and remind Glasgow that “we are the Clyde” once again and end the season on a high note.

The event is free and a buffet will be available, it is a relaxed dress code to gain entry and all Clyde supporters are more than welcome. It’s also hoped that all supporters will make some form of note donation and take part in the prize raffle. Prizes include a number of player’s strips, signed footballs and drink prizes.
