Youngsters Return From Holland

The Bully Wee under-19s’ unbeaten run in “Europe” came to an end on Friday when they suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against top Dutch outfit FC Utrecht, in what was the lads’ last match before returning home at the weekend.

Although they lost their final game, our lads once again received all the plaudits from the very impressed Dutch. Who would have thought a Scottish team would be the envy of any Dutch side – a massive compliment to Clyde Football Club.

At the end of the Leonardo Project, Coach David Winnie thanked the lads for their hard work and effort and wished them all the best with their football careers. David also expressed his sincere thanks to Jim Junnor for all his unseen work behind the scenes, saying, “Jim was a great help both on and away from the pitch, it was very much appreciated.”
