The Internet Player of the Year competition will have a slightly different format this year in an effort to increase the enjoyment for Bully Wee fans who vote.
Rather than the winner of each individual Man of the Match vote simply gaining one point, he will now earn 4 points, with the second placed man earning 2 and third place collecting 1. This has been done mainly for two reasons:-
1. To give a fairer reflection on overall play and consistency over the course of a season.
2. To increase the importance of each Website Members’ vote!
We’re also working towards involving a sponsor which will hopefully offer possible benefits to Members who vote.
As with last season, the winner of the first Man of the Match vote of the season, this time for his performance against Alloa in the Challenge Cup on Saturday, is John Fraser. John, whose superb winning goal capped a fine performance, earned 40% of the total vote. John Potter was second and Jack Ross was third.
