Bryn Halliwell’s suspension has been confirmed as one match only, with any further bans depending on any extra penalty points gained in future matches.
The club received the following confirmation from the SFA today:-
“As a result of being sent off, the player has incurred an automatic one match suspension which, in view of the category of the offence, applies until such time as your club’s team(s) has completed a match in a competition for which he would otherwise be eligible for selection. Notwithstanding this suspension, the player is otherwise free to play in other matches.”
Therefore the Englishman will, as expected, miss the Ayr United match on Saturday but will be available for selection from the Challenge Cup match against St.Johnstone onwards.
