Kerno: Diego Deal Not Dead

Alan Kernaghan has hit back at claims Clyde were never in the running to land Diego Maradona Junior, and insists nothing has been finalised yet. Speaking to the website this afternoon, he said:-

“Dunfermline are saying we have nothing to do with the deal – but that’s only their opinion. All I can say is I definitely took a phonecall about it last week.”

“I wouldn’t read too much into their claims that they have the deal sown up until something concrete happens. There will be a lot of ifs and buts involved, for instance language problems and his agents’ wishes.”
