Depleted Squad Aims To Bounce Back

Clyde will travel to Love Street tomorrow missing two key players as they aim to put Tuesday night’s disappointment behind them and get back to winning ways.

Captain Jack Ross will be missing for at least another week with his rib injury, and Stevie Convery is now also unavailable (see seperate story). Pat Keogh, however, is available again although he isn’t yet 100% match fit.

Youngsters Mark Gilhaney, Paul Doyle and Billy Reid are added to the squad and at least one of them should feature on the bench.

Manager Alan Kernaghan was in determined mood ahead of the match:-

“We can’t let one bad result ruin our season, and the players know that. I’m hoping for a reaction tomorrow, and, with the exception of one or two, we were all poor on Tuesday so everyone is going to have to get their socks pulled up and work hard.”
