Serious Injury For Convery
Stevie Convery’s season could unfortunately be over following his collision with Falkirk’s John Hughes on Tuesday night. Stevie played on after the incident but clearly wasn’t right and had to be substituted at half-time.
It was later revealed that he had fractured his cheekbone and eyebone in four places, and will undergo an operation on Monday.
Alan Kernaghan was highly disappointed to learn of the news:-
“It looks like Stevie’s season is over, which is a big blow for us. He may not have started many games this season, but he has come off the bench several times and done a fantastic job.”
Everyone at Clyde wishes Steve a speedy recovery.
