Falkirk 3 V 0 Clyde
Is the title dream now finally over? Clyde were comprehensively beaten by a hungrier, quicker, sharper and generally better Falkirk side at Brockville tonight which effectively ends any chance of catching the league leaders.
An early Mark McLaughlin own goal was followed by a piece of bad luck for Bryn Halliwell when a shot by Samuels hit the post and the ball rebounded into the net via the back of his head. A Lee Miller header before half-time killed the game off, and the second half was played out in lethargic fashion.
Several questions on various issues have to be asked before Saturday’s opportunity to bounce back at Love Street.
