Grant Signs For Maryhill

Former Clyde winger Allan Grant has signed for his old team Maryhill Juniors. Grant arrived at Clyde with Ronnie MacDonald and played a big part in taking Clyde to the Second Division title. Since then though, he had struggled badly with injuries and couldn't break into the team. Alan Kernaghan decided it would be better for both parties if Allan left the club this summer.

Maryhill boss John Conlin was delighted to bring Grant back to Maryhill. "Allan was a big player in his last spell and hopefully he can enjoy some good times here again. He's fit again after his injury trouble that wrote off the last year or two for him, and he's raring to go", Conlin said.

Allan may well feature against a Partick Thistle XI tonight.
