Mclaughlin Struggling To Make Argyle Match

Tomorrow night Clyde play Plymouth Argyle in their last friendly before the season starts. English Second Division outfit Plymouth will provide tough opposition having won all three games of their Scottish tour so far. Victories against Brechin (3-2), Montrose (2-1) and Forfar (1-0) have given the side a lot of confidence ahead of the game.

Some players you might recognise in Argyle’s squad are Marino Keith (ex-Livingston and Falkirk), Graham Coughlan (ex-Livingston) and Neil Heaney (ex-Dundee United). Manager Paul Sturrock is no stranger to Scottish football either…

Mark McLaughlin will probably miss the match after taking a head knock at Stenhousemuir on Tuesday. New signing Dave McEwan won’t play, but trialist Neil Scally will feature at some stage.

Kick-off is at 7pm, and around 200 Plymouth fans are expected to arrive at Broadwood. Season tickets are valid, and pay at the gate prices are £5 adults and £2 concessions (OAPs, students and under 18s).
