The Clyde View Is Best – Again!
For the seventh season in a row, the superb Clyde View has won the overall best Scottish matchday programme award. It had a clear margin of victory over its nearest rivals (Montrose). A lot of credit should go to John Taylor, the editor, for his continued hard work.
John is greatly assisted by a number of fine contributors, and the programme table shows what can be achieved with hard work and passion for the club. Rangers and Celtic, who have by far the largest volume of sales, came well down the overall table. Programme Monthly, who issued the award, had this to say…
“The continued success of Clyde’s programme, outwith the top division, shows that low gates are no barrier to a top class programme. The Broadwood example can easily be followed by more clubs – all it takes is hard work, enterprise and initiative.”
Here is the top ten…
Club (points average)
Clyde (80.50)
Montrose (74.50)
Aberdeen (74.35)
Partick Thistle (74.33)
Queens Park (72.88)
Dunfermline (72.71)
Hearts (72.41)
Dundee Utd (70.76)
Falkirk (70.11)
Stirling Albion (70.00)
Once again, well done to John Taylor and his team for making the Clyde View such a great advert for the club. Something we’re hoping to emulate with this official website.
