Dougie Bell Resigns

Clyde Football Club has regretfully accepted the resignation of Dougie Bell from his post of assistant manager.

There are no immediate plans to replace Dougie and to that effect John Brown has intimated to the club board that he plans to work independently over the next few weeks, utilising the experienced Paul Stewart to help where necessary. This arrangement will be reviewed with director of football, Neil Watt at the end of August.

The club would like to put on record its thanks for Dougie’s commitment, loyalty and hard work during his time at Clyde. Having played with the Bully Wee in the early 1990s, Dougie returned to the club in 2005 to take the under-19 side and has been supporting first team activities ever since.

All at Clyde would like to wish him every success in the future.
