Stuart Millar has added two further players to the squad this evening, as the club concluded deals to sign Iain Gray and Stuart Mills.
19-year-old Gray (left) joins from St. Mirren and is a defender.
Pictured on the homepage, Mills, 20, operates on the right wing and was previously with Hamilton.
Clyde's head coach spoke to the official website to provide some more information on the pair:-
"Both lads will add to depth to the squad and provide the competition we need for places. They also deserve credit for the fact that they are willing to take a drop down the divisions in order to build up their careers again.
"Iain can play in any position across the back four. At the moment we have Murray Henderson and Ross McMillan in central defence, with Ally Park, Iain and potentially Neil McGowan all able to provide cover there.
"In the full-back positions we now have four players - Neil, Ally, Iain and Graham (Girvan) - fighting for two positions. It is a long season and we need to have those options available to us.
"Stuart is a right-sided winger who has great pace and I have been impressed with him during the time he has spent training with us. He played in the SPL last season with Hamilton and, again, he is another player who has joined us with the correct approach to the game.
"The signings today bring our total of players up to 17. I was looking at around the 20 mark with regards to the size of the first team squad so we are well on the way to achieving that.
"Ideally I would still like one more central defender but we also need additional competition in midfield. We’ll keep working away to bring the right players to the club but I’m definitely pleased at the way things are shaping up so far."
