Kyle joined Clyde from Cove Rangers in June 2024. He began his career at Kilmarnock and had loan spells with Airdrieonians, East Fife and Raith Rovers.

Kyle then had a short stint at East Kilbride before joining Cove Rangers last summer, and bagged a double on his debut against Clyde when the sides met in last season’s League Cup, having also found the net against The Bully Wee for Airdrie and East Fife.

Connell scored on his Clyde debut against Edinburgh City in July.
