Keir is a product of the Dundee United youth system who made his debut for the Premiership side at the end of last season, earning a spot in the SPFL Team of the Week following a fine performance.

Left-back Gilligan, an age-group Scotland international, made another appearance for The Terrors in this season’s Premier Sports Cup group stage, before joining Clyde on loan when the teams struck a co-operation arrangement in late July.

Keir is able to move fluidly between the clubs over the course of the season, per the terms of the arrangement.
