Darren arrived at the club in January 2023, having spent the bulk of his career to that point in the Championship with Greenock Morton.

Initially deployed in an unfamiliar midfield role, the full-back was predominantly a squad player in an injury-interrupted first couple of years with The Bully Wee. Under Darren Young, however, he has returned to his natural position and made the right-back berth his own, contributing heavily at both ends of the park.

‘Daz’ penned a two-year extension in the summer, taking his Clyde stay to at least 2028.
