Chris came through the youth ranks of fellow League Two club The Spartans, making a trio of appearances for the Edinburgh side’s first team but primarily gaining senior experience through a series of loan spells at East Stirlingshire.

Whilst at The Shire, the centre-back formed a partnership with now-Clyde teammate Sam Campbell, and he signed permanently with the Lowland League side in the summer of 2025. Following his departure at the end of last season, Darren Young brought Inglis to The Bully Wee on trial; having then impressed in a couple of League Cup matches, he was signed soon after.

Chris penned a one-year contract, expiring in summer 2027.
