Bruce, a young midfielder, progressed through the youth ranks at Rangers and Ayr United before sampling senior football for the first time with Irish outfit Finn Harps.

A spell at English non-league side Workington followed, before Strachan returned home in January of this year to sign for East Kilbride. He made a solitary appearance for Kilby en route to their League Two title win.

Having impressed as a trialist in a pre-season friendly against Rutherglen Glencairn, Bruce put pen to paper on a one-year deal to June 2027.
