Clyde’s Digital Growth Continues

We are just beyond the halfway mark of the league season and, after 20 games, sit five places higher than this time last season, 20 goals better off with nine more points. Off the pitch Clyde TV numbers are also trending in a very positive direction with three times more monthly passes sold this season already than in the entirety of last season.

There has been a concentrated effort for the club to develop our digital output and online offerings in recent seasons. From improving the website and increasing our social media content to upgrading our match highlights package, as a club we have strived to bring the best possible digital experience for supporters. This season we have also expanded our match live streaming to cover away matches as well as our home games, bringing our overseas supporters closer to the action than ever before.

Head of Clyde TV, John Boyce explained: “Things are progressing incredibly well; we have grown a collaborative, talented and hard working Clyde TV team and have seen a major increase in traffic through the short form content.

“While we are still refining the complex logistics of away game broadcasting, I’m delighted that we’ve successfully delivered the majority of matches live, providing a vital service to fans and generating new revenue for the club.”

“My vision for Clyde TV is to ensure every supporter has a front row seat through high quality streaming and engaging highlights, while using short form content to bring the club to a younger demographic.”

From live streaming to social media updates, match highlights and more, the digital era has opened up new ways for fans to stay connected with the club, wherever they are in the world.

Of course, this shift isn’t unique to Clyde. Across the world, football fans are embracing digital platforms to enhance how they experience the game. From interactive data insights and social media fan forums to regulated sports entertainment platforms like BetMGM UK, supporters are more connected — and more informed — than ever before.

We are proud that our team of volunteers are ensuring we are part of the digital future of the game. As we continue to expand our online offerings, the focus remains the same — giving every supporter the chance to feel part of the Bully Wee family and we are always keen to hear ways to further enhance our online presence and offerings.
