Liam Undergoes Surgery

The club wishes to inform supporters that Liam Scullion will be sidelined for a period after undergoing surgery on a hip injury earlier this week.

Originally scheduled to have the operation next year, Liam was able to bring the date forward after a cancellation slot became available. The exact length of his recovery will be determined in consultation with his surgeon and the Clyde medical team.

Manager Darren Young said:

“We all want to wish Liam the very best in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch when he’s ready. It’s disappointing to lose him, especially as he’s started the season in such good form, but this was the best decision for him personally.”

The club can also confirm that Brian Kinnear has returned to training this week following a rib injury sustained against Peterhead last month.
