Clyde 0-0 Forfar Athletic

The Bully Wee lacked a cutting edge as they were held to a goalless draw by Forfar Athletic this afternoon at the Hamilton Community Stadium.

Darren Young made two changes to his side, with Barry Cuddihy and Taylor Sutherland coming in for Darren Hynes and Liam Scullion.

The first opportunity of the afternoon came after a well worked Clyde moved ended with Taylor Sutherland cutting inside and shooting for goal, but his shot was saved by Marc McCallum.

Forfar then had a chance through ex-Clyde striker Martin Rennie when the ball came to him just outside the six-yard box, but he put his effort over the bar.

At the other end Andy Murdoch connected with a corner but his effort was cleared off the line by a defender.

Murdoch then forced McCallum into action after the interval with his shot from distance stinging the palms of the ‘keeper.

McCallum also denied Kyle Connell in similar circumstances towards the end of the game.
