Nevans Signs New Deal

The club is pleased to announce that Shay Nevans has signed a new one-year deal ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, subject to SFA approval.

The 19-year-old joined The Bully Wee in February on an amateur basis and made one appearance off the bench, before his season ended prematurely following an operation.

The ex-Motherwell and Alloa Athletic winger has now returned to fitness and netted a goal in a bounce match against Caledonian Braves last Thursday, before penning his first professional contract with The Bully Wee.

“Shay joined near the end of last season but then had an operation to sort an issue that’s been bothering him for a couple of years, so we didn’t get a chance to see him in full. He’s came in for pre-season and has impressed us, looking fit and strong and has done really well over the last few weeks, both in training and in games.

“He’s a winger who can play on both sides and has good pace, giving us another option up the top end of the park.”
