Scullion Signs New Deal

The club is pleased to announce that Liam Scullion has signed a new one-year contract ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

The 23-year-old enters a fourth season with The Bully Wee, having joined from Fauldhouse United in the summer of 2022.

Liam has scored 14 goals in 108 Clyde appearances to date, and won the Premium Members Player of the Season last year.

Darren Young commented:-

“We had to wait a bit to get Liam over the line, similar to Andy, as he had options to explore but I’m delighted to get him signed up for the new season. He’s an important player for us and adds a lot to the team with goals and assists.

“We also missed him towards the end of the season but his injury has cleared up now and he’s raring to go again. He adds quality and drive to our midfield and the squad is looking strong at this stage of pre-season.”

The club can also confirm that Shay Nevans has joined the squad for pre-season training which commenced on Thursday. The young winger signed for The Bully Wee on amateur terms in February and made one appearance before requiring an operation, but has now returned to fitness. A further update will be provided in due course.
