Squad Update
The club can provide an update on the playing squad following the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
Lee Connelly, Dom Docherty, Ray Grant, Jay Kennedy, Conor Scullion and Dylan Watt will leave The Bully Wee upon the expiry of their contracts.
Grant made 175 appearances and scored five goals for The Bully Wee across two spells, playing an integral part of the promotion winning season in 2018-19. Goalkeeper Kennedy joined Clyde last March and made eight appearances this campaign, keeping a clean sheet on his league debut against Stirling Albion in January.
Docherty signed for Clyde last summer, starting eight games and coming off the bench in 17, netting his only Bully Wee goal in the closing seconds of Saturday’s game against Peterhead. Connelly was also a summer signing but was restricted to just 12 appearances before suffering a season ending knee injury in September. He will be given rehab facilities as he continues to recover from his operation.
Scullion and Watt were both signed on amateur deals during the season, with the former making two sub appearances in his second spell at the club, whilst Watt featured in Glasgow Cup ties between loan spells at Benburb and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.
Jamie Bradley, Callum Hannah, Robbie Hemfrey and Taylor Sutherland will all return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan spells.
Logan Dunachie, Lee Hamilton, Craig Howie, Darren Lyon, Tommy Robson and Scott Williamson are currently under contract for next season.
The club would like to sincerely thank all those moving on from Clyde for their efforts and wish them the very best in their future careers.
