Lee Moves On

The club can announce that it has agreed to release Lee Hamilton from his contract, as he moves on from The Bully Wee due to personal reasons.

The defender joined Clyde in January 2024 and made an instant impression at the heart of the defence, winning the club’s Player of the Year Award for 2023-24 before being appointed club captain last summer.

Lee made a total of 52 Bully Wee appearances, scoring two goals.

Lee commented:-

“I’m gutted that my time at Clyde has come to an end sooner than planned but it’s purely down to personal reasons and it’s been a really difficult decision to make.

“I’ve enjoyed every second of being at the club, and captaining the boys last season was an honour. I want to thank everyone involved with the club for their support and wish The Bully Wee nothing but success going forward.”

All at the club would like to thank Lee for his effort and commitment during his time with Clyde, and wish him all the best for his future.
