NEW SIGNINGS: Shay Nevans & Conor Scullion

The club is pleased to announce the signings of wingers Shay Nevans and Conor Scullion until the end of the season.

The duo have put pen to paper on amateur deals having spent time training with Clyde in recent weeks. Both players featured on the bench as trialists against Stranraer and Peterhead and started last week’s Glasgow Cup victory over Queen’s Park, with Conor scoring The Bully Wee’s second goal.

Nevans, 18, began his career with Motherwell before joining Alloa Athletic last summer. He made seven appearances for The Wasps before leaving Clackmannanshire before the close of the transfer window.

25-year-old Scullion, the older brother of Liam, spent last season with Clyde, scoring one goal in nine appearances. He now returns to the club for a second spell following a stint at Albion Rovers.

Darren Young commented:-

“I’m happy to bring Shay and Conor in. We’ve had them in the group for a few weeks now and they’ve both fitted in well and shown a great attitude. They’ve made a good impact in training and during the Glasgow Cup tie. They’ll add depth to our squad for the run in and gives us a few more options in wide areas where we’re a little light at the moment due to injuries.”
