NEW SIGNING: Darren Lyon

The club is pleased to announce the signing of Darren Lyon on a two-year contract.

The experienced central midfielder began his career at Hamilton Academical before a taste of English football with Peterborough United.

Lyon, 29, then went on to have spells at Queen of the South, Queen’s Park and Kelty Hearts, before spending last season with Arbroath in the Championship.

Ian McCall spoke to to the official website after capturing Darren’s signature:-

“As with our other summer recruits, Darren has a lot of good experience from a higher level. He’s got a great engine on him and he likes to get around the pitch.

“Our recruitment has been encouraging so far but we’re by no means finished. We are very aware of the areas we still need to fill and continue to look for the right players to strengthen these positions.”
