Two Move On

The club can announce two departures from the playing squad this afternoon.

Andy Rodden has joined his old club East Stirlingshire on loan for the remainder of the season. The left-back joined Clyde from the Shire in the summer and has made 13 appearances for the club, with one assist.

Meanwhile defender Aidan Cassidy has left The Bully Wee permanently to look for regular first team football. The 20-year-old joined the club two years ago and recently returned from a loan spell at Gala Fairydean Rovers, having also gained experience at Broomhill and Gretna 2008 last season. Aidan made one competitive appearance for Clyde, against Dumbarton last April, in addition to six appearances in the Glasgow Cup.

The club would like to wish the very best of luck to Aidan for his future career and Andy for the rest of the season.
