PREVIEW: Elgin City v Clyde

The Bully Wee are in SPFL Trust Trophy action tomorrow as they make the trip to Borough Briggs for the first time in almost four years to take on Elgin City in a fourth round tie.

The Black and Whites have knocked out Dundee United B, Stenhousemuir and Peterhead to reach this stage, whilst Clyde’s last victory came in this competition, against Caernarfon Town in September.

Peter Grant returns to the Clyde squad after serving a one match suspension, whilst Jon Craig is cup tied having appeared for Kilmarnock B in the earlier rounds of the competition.

Elgin City have confirmed that the Borough Briggs pitch is playable today, despite overnight rain. On that basis, no pitch inspection is required today.

Should there be a repeat of heavy rain overnight tonight Elgin City will review the situation and assess whether a mid-morning pitch inspection may be required. The club will keep fans informed in the morning.
