Greg Callan Elected to Board

The club is pleased to announce that Greg Callan was elected to the Board to fill the role of Finance Director at last night’s AGM.

Recently retired as Head of Entrepreneurial Services at French Duncan LLP, Chartered Accountants, Greg has spent his professional career advising growth businesses and, in the last 10 years, in the strategic development and growth of French Duncan. The combination of technical expertise allied with the commercial experience of setting up his own practice in 1991 provides him with a depth of knowledge on what works for business growth and what are the practical steps needed in developing a business.

Greg brings a number of core skills to the Board, including entrepreneurial vision, strategic thinking, plus financial, risk management and technical expertise.

Greg has a keen interest in football having played professionally, including a short spell with The Bully Wee towards the end of the 1984-85 season where he made two appearances. He also coached at youth level and provided audit and business advisory services to various clubs over the years. He is looking forward to assisting the club in its development and establishing its long-term security.
