PREVIEW: Clyde v Alloa Athletic

Clyde take on Alloa Atheltic in cinch League 1 matchday 6 at New Douglas Park.

Danny Lennon will continue to be without Conner Duthie and Paul Kennedy, while Barry Cuddihy remains doubtful after picking up an injury a few weeks ago.

The Wasps sit one point behind Clyde in the table, with the Bully Wee looking to bounce back from two defeats in a row.

The Clyde manager spoke to the official website ahead of the game:-

“Our last two fixtures have seen narrow defeats on the road. In both matches we had created enough chances to achieve more points and keep our positive momentum high. It is frustrating that we didn’t find the back of the opposition net enough in those matches after scoring 9 goals in our previous three matches. There are often fine margins that separate positive performances from the positive results they deserve. However, the pleasing aspect is that we are opening teams up and presenting a threat.

“Our focus has to be working as hard as we can and playing for each other as much as we can. From that, we’ve already shown and must show again, that we can play, that our brand of football is enjoyable to watch and achieves positive results in this league. We were pleased last week to get Steven Thicots work permit in place. He has been a great professional to have around the dressing room and we look forward to his contribution on the pitch. Please, give your team as much positive encouragement as you can as we play for the prize of three points.”
