Adam Strachan

All at the club were saddened to learn of the passing of former Clyde captain Adam Strachan yesterday, aged just 35.

Adam joined The Bully Wee in January 2010 and was handed the captain’s armband by Stuart Millar six months later. In his first match as skipper he scored a memorable free-kick on the opening day of the 2010-11 season to equalise against rivals and his old club Partick Thistle.

Adam moved on from The Bully Wee in January 2011 after a total of 7 goals in 35 appearances.

The thoughts and condolences of all at the club are with Adam’s family and friends at this extremely sad time.
