Foodbank Collection on Saturday
The club can announce that a foodbank collection will be held at this Saturday’s cinch League 1 match against Peterhead at Broadwood.
The collection has been organised by Clyde supporters, in aid of the Cumbernauld Foodbank, which helps serve the local community. A previous collection was held for the Cumbernauld Foodbank in December, which was very well supported by fans.
Any donations by supporters attending the game would be greatly appreciated. Items the Foodbank regularly run low on include UHT milk, tinned fruit, tinned custard/creamed rice, sugar, jam, tinned ravioli/spaghetti bolognese, soap powder/tablets, dried noodles, diluting juice, shower gel and antiperspirant, though any other non-perishable food items and toiletries would be welcomed.
Given the time of year, Easter Eggs for children would also be appreciated.
There will be a donation point just outside the turnstiles to enable supporters to drop off any items before entering the stadium.
