NEW SIGNING: Joshua Bradley-Hurst
The club is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Joshua Bradley-Hurst.
The 19-year-old spent time in the academies at Celtic and Birmingham City before signing for Dumbarton in January, however injury prevented him from playing for The Sons.
He has spent pre-season training with The Bully Wee, and kept a clean sheet in the Broadwood Cup Final victory over Airdrieonians.
Joshua has signed a one-year deal and goes straight into the squad for tonight’s match against Stranraer.
Danny Lennon commented:-
“I believe that in David Mitchell we have the best goalkeeper in League One. However, we have been looking for a young, hungry and ambitious ‘keeper to push David for a starting place.
“At 19, Josh has had great coaching coming through the Celtic, Birmingham City and Scotland youth set ups. He’s had a difficult last year recovering from surgery, however he is ready to go and keen to push on. We very much like what we see from him, and together with his strong character, we believe we have signed a ‘keeper with tremendous potential.”
