2020-21 Award Winners
David Goodwillie has been named as the Clyde FC Player of the Year for 2020-21.
The club captain featured in 26 matches during the shortened season, scoring 14 goals and also contributing four assists.
David was selected for the award following a recent online vote by club owners and season ticket holders, taking a 62% share. Ally Love was second with 10%, with Craig Howie and Scott Rumsby joint third with 7%.
The Goal of the Season award, following a similar online poll, goes to Craig Howie. Craig’s superb strike at Peterhead in March earned 37% of the vote, with Barry Cuddihy (v Dumbarton) next with 26% and Goodwillie (v Montrose) in third place with 15% of the vote.
The presentations will be made to both David and Craig at a later date – congratulations to both!
The club can also confirm that David has been named as both the Castlemilk Branch and Glasgow Branch supporters clubs’ Player of the Year.
