PREVIEW: Forfar Athletic v Clyde
Clyde travel to Station Park tomorrow to face Forfar Athletic in Ladbrokes League 1.
The sides have faced each other twice so far this season, with both games ending in 0-0 draws after closely-fought encounters.
The Bully Wee expect to have the same squad available for selection following the win over East Fife at Broadwood last Saturday, with the addition of Barry Cuddihy following a one-match suspension.
Danny Lennon spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-
“We want to continue this wee run that we’re on just now, being unbeaten in 2020. Our success comes from us giving absolutely everything and we know that we need to be doing that every week. The squad is a lot healthier now which is absolutely fantastic from everyone’s point of view; in terms of the players competing and pushing one another, which is crucial.
“We want to push on with the momentum that we’ve had since the turn of the year with some very, very important games coming up.
“Forfar is never an easy venue to go to and they always provide you with a challenge. We know what we’re capable of doing and we’ll make sure we go there and give everything we have.
“The boys showed once again last week that they have a great work rate and great character. I felt that we were always in control of the game, it was disappointing to lose the goal that we did but the boys have an inner belief, which is great. Now we have a more full squad and it gives us a really pleasant headache.”
