PREVIEW: Falkirk v Clyde

Clyde travel to Falkirk tomorrow, for the first time since 2005, on Ladbrokes League 1 duty.

The Bully Wee won the first game between the sides earlier in the season at Broadwood, thanks to a Mark Lamont strike.

The same squad is expected to be available as the one that faced Raith Rovers last week, with no new injury worries following that match.

Speaking to the official website ahead of the game, Danny Lennon said:-

“Last week was a game of two contrasts. We’ve addressed this week what caused a lot of our problems in the first half, as it wasn’t just one thing, it was a number of things within it. Although we showed unbelievable character and played well in the second half, that’s what we’ve got to be like from the first whistle. I thought we were unfortunate in the end not to take all three points, and if we play like we did in the second half for the majority of our games then we’ll give ourselves a very good chance.

“I feel some of our best performances have been on the road this season. Tomorrow we come up against a very good Falkirk side who are starting to find a bit of rhythm themselves. It’s important our attitude and application is spot on from the first whistle. I think we’ve shown that when we give everything and leave it on that pitch, we’re a very good side. These are the type of big games that everyone wants to play in.

“Our support always travels very well. We want our fans to go and enjoy an exciting game, because we certainly know that when they get excited they’re right behind the team and that’s one thing they’re very consistent at doing. When they see the effort the players bring when they’re playing for that Clyde jersey they’ll always get behind them. It’s not always about a pretty performance or coming back from two goals down, it’s about competing the best that they can. That’s something we can never fault the fans for.”
