Danny and Allan Back the Bully Wee Fund
Danny Lennon and Allan Moore have urged supporters to back the Bully Wee Fund initiative, as the 2019-20 pre-season enters an important period both on and off the training pitch.
Over 150 people have already subscribed since its launch earlier this month, but the club is hopeful that many more will join in the coming weeks, before the first draw takes place on 17th July.
The Bully Wee Fund is a 52-week fundraising initiative that supersedes and combines both the 200 Fund and Flying Start schemes, which were successful in recent years. Similar to those schemes, the Bully Wee Fund allows supporters to contribute directly to Clyde’s first team and also enter regular draws, usually at home matches, to win a significant cash prize. It has the specific purpose of increasing the player budget available to the management team.
Danny said:-
“A message that I have presented consistently in my time at Clyde is that only when everyone at the club is pulling together and giving all they can, then and only then, will we experience success. The backing from the fans into all things Clyde in my time here has been tremendous.
“I urge the fans once again to back this new initiative. The more people who participate in the Bully Wee Fund, the stronger it makes the club, which transfers onto the pitch in terms of the quality of squad that we have wearing the famous Clyde jersey.
“Last season’s journey was fantastic. Let’s keep that momentum going and see where it takes us.”

The initiative commences in July, with the first draw taking place at Clyde’s Betfred Cup match against Hamilton Accies.
