PREVIEW: Edinburgh City v Clyde

The Ladbrokes League 1 play-offs begin tomorrow evening, with a semi-final first leg between Edinburgh City and Clyde at Ainslie Park.

The tie, with the second leg at Broadwood on Saturday, will see the teams meet for the sixth and seventh time this season, with several close battles having already taken place on both league and cup duty.

Speaking to the official website this evening, Danny Lennon said:-

“Our ambition has always been to get promotion no matter what the route is, so we’ll dust ourselves down after Saturday and be ready for tomorrow. We’ve had some sparkling form since November and we’ve got to carry that into the play-offs now.

“It’s going to be a very had two matches against Edinburgh. Both clubs know what is at stake now. For us, it’s about producing our best form again.

“I’d ask our supporters to turn out in numbers again and give the team some more of the fantastic backing that they have done throughout the season. They can give the players the extra energy and make a big difference. I hope that they enjoy the experience and being part of these exciting matches.”

Admission prices at Ainslie Park will be; adults £14, students £10 and under-16s £7.
