Four Named in PFA Team

Four Clyde players have been included in the PFA Scotland League 2 Team of the Year for the 2018-19 season.

Goalkeeper Blair Currie, defender Martin McNiff, midfielder John Rankin and forward David Goodwillie were all included in the select.

The team, as below, was announced at the PFA awards event at Glasgow Hilton last night.

Blair Currie (Clyde); Craig Thomson (Edinburgh City), Conrad Balatoni (Edinburgh City), Martin McNiff (Clyde), Jamie Stevenson (Peterhead); Willie Gibson (Peterhead), Scott Brown (Peterhead), John Rankin (Clyde), Chris Johnston (Annan Athletic); David Goodwillie (Clyde), Blair Henderson (Edinburgh City).

Blair Henderson of Edinburgh City was named as the League 2 Player of the Year.
