It’s the penultimate home match of the 2018-19 season for The Bully Wee tomorrow, as Berwick Rangers visit Broadwood in Ladbrokes League 2.
It’s another match with significance at both ends of the league table, as Clyde’s promotion bid continues and The Borderers aim to avoid the relegation play-off position.
For Clyde, Kieran Duffie returns to the squad, but Dylan Cogill will miss out due to a knee injury.
Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-
“As the season so far has proven, there could still be a few twists to come. We’ve had a really exciting season so far and it feels like it’s gone in very quickly. It’s been enjoyable and there is no sense that we want it to end, which can sometimes happen at this time of year.
“We’re still seeing great energy levels within the squad, at both matches and in training. We’re now asking them to add another 1% to everything they do. That might not sound like a lot, but collectively it will make a big difference.
“Berwick will no doubt be very dangerous opponents tomorrow. They’ll be giving their all for valuable points and we know that they will press us and have a go. As we do in every match, we’ll respect our opponents and try to continue doing well what we have been recently.
“Having two home games in a row is a nice bonus at this stage. The fans were incredible again last week at Edinburgh and it’s a given now in terms of the support that they will give to the players – and they know that the boys will keep giving everything for that Clyde ship.”
