Cuddihy Named Player of the Year
Barry Cuddihy has been named as the Clyde FC Player of the Year for 2018-19.
The full back, who has featured in 38 matches so far this season, was presented with the trophy at the Awards Night which took place in the Arria Lounge at Broadwood yesterday evening.
Barry was selected for the award following a vote by supporters at the home match against Berwick Rangers recently, in what was the closest and most widely spread vote for many years. John Rankin was second and Martin McNiff was third.
Also during the event, John McHugh was officially welcomed into the club’s Hall of Fame. John was in attendance with members of his family and spoke fondly of his time with The Bully Wee.
His former teammate, Dick Staite, also gave a heartfelt tribute to John as both a player and a person.

- Castlemilk Branch Player of the Year – David Goodwillie
- Arria Silver Player of the Year – John Rankin
